Your Guide to Success: Tips and Tricks from Our Recruiters

As the Talent Attraction team, we want to help every applicant thrive throughout the recruitment process. That’s why we’ve put together an insights guide with tips from our Global Talent Attraction Partners.

  • Your CV is the first impression we’ll have of you, so here are some key pointers and recommendations to assist you in creating a standout resume. Keep your resume simple, concise, and 1-3 pages long, depending on your experience.
  • Include responsibilities and accomplishments to let us understand your previous work.
  • Tailor your CV to each role, highlighting relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
  • Write a brief paragraph about yourself, your motivation, and how you can contribute to the role.
  • Proofread for spelling and grammar and submit your CV without a photo for fairness.

If you're invited for an interview, our advice is to simply be yourself. We want your personality to shine through. You’re more than just your resume, and we’re looking to have a genuine conversation, not just a recap of bullet points. A holistic discussion will showcase your energy and uniqueness.

  • Research GN and the role to show your commitment and engage in meaningful conversations. Be ready to share what excites you about the position.
  • Answer questions concisely and stay focused on what's being asked.
  • Help the interviewer see how your skills and experiences can directly contribute to the role. Highlight what you can bring in terms of real results.
  • As you are formulating your responses, talk about your work according to a specific situation you have experienced, what your involvement (Tasks) was, which Actions you took and the outcome. This is a way of organizing your thoughts to facilitate an example-oriented response.
  • Be prepared to discuss how you handle setbacks and changes, showing your adaptability and growth mindset. Also, come with a few thoughtful questions about the company or the team to demonstrate your genuine interest.
