GN ReSound launches ReSound LiNX²™ and Beltone Legend™

Today, GN ReSound launches ReSound LiNX² and the corresponding Beltone Legend - the fourth generation of 2.4 GHz wireless technology.

As a result of GN’s outstanding R&D efficiency, the products are launched in all primary markets. ReSound LiNX² and Beltone Legend are offered in a complete product family with new designs including custom products, thereby making them the first custom hearing aids in the world with Made for iPhone connectivity.

ReSound LiNX² and Beltone Legend are significant upgrades to the world’s first Made for iPhone hearing aids, ReSound LiNX™ and Beltone First™, building on all the same connectivity opportunities with Apple devices – and now offering four times faster connection.

Surround Sound by ReSound™ is also upgraded with the new key feature, Spatial Sense™, which takes the localization ability to an unprecedented level utilizing the ear-to-ear connectivity of the hearing aids to successfully maintain origin of sound. Spatial Sense helps the brain retain the natural level and time difference of sound inputs – i.e. the user is more able to hear what and where sounds are coming from. This leads to improved orientation and greater experience of sound and conversations. It allows the wearers to zoom in on the sounds they are most interested in - even when noise levels are high. ReSound LiNX² and Beltone Legend also have new receivers to enhance effortless speech understanding.

Moreover, the ReSound Smart app is upgraded with new added features to empower the user making him able to personalize and control the hearing aids to an even further extent including the level of noise cancellation and the level of microphone directionality. For those with tinnitus, ReSound LiNX² and Beltone Legend include a built-in tinnitus therapy sound generator, with new Nature Sounds, using the calming sounds of water to achieve relief from tinnitus.

The new ergonomic designs and the new Sure Fit™ receiver system deliver all-day comfort and better acoustic performance.
